Why should I participate in the I-Corps Program @UMass Chan?

The I-Corps Program @UMass Chan Medical School, is designed to support the commercialization of biomedical research by providing training in state-of-the-art methods and strategic guidance to faculty, staff and students during the early phases of technology development.

Based on the National Science Foundation’s Innovation Corps (I-Corps™) Program, the premiere federally-funded innovation and commercialization training in the U.S., our short course is an evidence-based experience that will take you out of your comfort zone to connect with potential customers.

Designed specifically for the biomedical researcher at UMass Chan, it guides interdisciplinary teams through a hands-on process of understanding the market for their technology utilizing a proven customer discovery methodology.
